Admissions Requirements

M.A. Education – CMHC Admissions

Candidates for Malone’s online M.A. Ed. Clinical Mental Health Counseling program must submit the following:

  • Graduate application
  • Official transcripts
  • Two professional references
  • An autobiography, between two and three single-spaced typewritten pages

The autobiography should include:

  • A description of your family of origin
  • Significant life experiences that have shaped you
  • A situation in which you were involved in helping another person in crisis
  • The factors that you believe have influenced your decision to pursue a career as a professional counselor.

In addition, applicants must participate in an interview.
